Wheatley Puppet

The Youtube user trpchakai made a realistic looking Wheatley (from Portal 2) puppet, the puppet moves exactly how it would in the game, including facial (?) features. The puppet also uses 10 quotes from the game.

"Thank you so much for all the positive feedback. I'm so happy so many people like my little puppet. I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the comments and questions I've been getting, so I thought I should put up a FAQ list of the questions I keep seeing a lot.

1. How much does the puppet weigh?
Just under six pounds.

2. What are his dimensions?
He's about 12 inches across. I don't have lists of measurements for all his details, but honestly none of them are completely accurate. I eyeballed a lot of things.

3. Can I buy one?
I don't have any plans to start selling these."

More pictures of Wheatley can be found here, and a guide to making the puppet can be found here. And I've been making too many posts about Portal recently, so don't worry, the next few will probably be more interesting (MORE PORTAL.)

I guess the cake isn't a lie

This is a very realistic copy of a space core from Portal 2, except in cake form. It was commissioned for Flickr users sharkhats and offwithyourtv for their 3 year wedding anniversary, by Mike's Amazing Cakes in Washington, although that information isn't really relevant, if you want a realistic looking cake go there.

"We had the space core cake commissioned for our 3 year anniversary. A followup to our Katamari wedding cake. Created by Mike's Amazing Cakes in Redmond WA."

Click here for more pictures of the cake before and after being cut, also with the companion cube. Oh, by the way, I made the joke about the cake is a lie in the title to stop anyone else doing it, it makes me die everytime someone says it (expecting everyone to post "the cake is a lie" in the comments").
